Hi its been a while since I updated everyone! We have been very busy planning for the summer holidays and also introducing our new Stop and play after school scheme. There are lots of changes happening in the next few months which I will keep you updated on, all good stuff so no need to worry.
Some of you may have noticed our new banners going up....kids club is growing!
If any of you wish to book sessions in the holidays please get your forms back ASAP as places are filling.
We have extended our services on two of the weeks and are doing stop and play sessions on a Friday, due to demand, in addition to our other dates.
A picture gallery will go up onto the blog at the end of term so check out the site in the last week in particular.
From September photos will go on every week.....I am learning still so bare with me on this.

We had a busy week last week, just a real shame the rain has kept us inside for most of it.
The children have really enjoyed camp building, playing cards and building with Knex especially. I think we are getting some really good card players... I had better improve my skills as I cannot remember the last time I played. just a good job Rickie and Pearl can remember the rules for some of the games!
We are in the process of organising our first stop and play after school sessions, which will start at Culverstone and be extended out to other schools. More to follow on this.
As soon as I get a bit better with picture downsloads there will be more pictures to see on our blog so watch this space.

Day three was busy!

We had such a good day on Friday. The weather was good and the children were all so excited about the funday. They all found out about the free bags on offer very early in the day and before long I was looking after 20 fabric bags! There was a cake stall, icecream man, police van with uniforms to dress up in, face painting, things to make and do and racing games to. We had colouring sheets available for everyone at our table in case we needed a rest....definately not needed. A big thank you to Daisy Chains for organising and allowing us to be part of a fantastic day.
When the fun day was over we went back into the club and collasped in teh quiet area for some quiet time and play station games and lego building. A great day and great end to the May Break holiday club.

Day two of May Break at kids club

We had lots of fun today starting off the day with breakfast and then drawing, colouring and playing with lego. We spent time outside in the morning doing racing games, playing football, skipping and running around with friends. Then it was time for a snail hunt. We all helped to make bug hotels for our snail, slug and ladybird guests. The ladybirds flew away but the snails liked the rooms we gave them so they stayed.
We had lunch and tea outside today as it was so nice, lots of suncream, water to drink and hats all round! When we got too hot we went back inside for time on th eplay station and DS games. We chose not to play the Wii as we did not feel like jumping around. Some of the chldren did more colouring and smoothie making....yummy!
Wonder what we will do tomorrow?
