Please remember we are open from Wednesday 1st June to Friday 3rd June 8am to 6pm. We have stop and play sessions available on Wednesday and Friday. The family fun day on Friday starts at 11am and if your child is attending the holiday club that day they will be able to join in under the supervision of our club staff. I took my children to Monkey world yesterday and I have now adopted a chimp named Sylvester myself. I will be bringing all news and photos of him in for the children at club so they can be part of my adoption experience. All my children have adopted Monkeys and love seeing them every year. If any of you are near Bournemouth during the summer Monkey World is a great place to visit.
Well we said goodbye to Steph today who has been with us as a volunteer helper since last June. She has now secured a place at university and we would like to wish her good luck for the future. The children had the chance to vote for their favourite team member this term and to be honest we all had a feeling who would win.....yes it was Rickie who came in with 7 votes. He was very pleased with this result and the children were happy to give him the special smiley face stickers I had put aside for the winner. We had various activities going on this evening which included making small pillows, outdoor play, arts and crafts and camp building. The holiday club team are looking forward to next week and if you are booked in we will see you then! It is not to late to book in for stop and play sessions on Wednesday or Friday. Thursday is now full.
Well the website is now live and ready for me to blog away to you all. Some of you may have noticed a new young face has joined us. Rickie will be with us while he completes his apprenticeship in Playwork, he is already very poular with the children! Makes me feel old....and why is it that if Rickie offers an activity it is more exciting? We would all like to welcome Rickie and wish him luck. Mark has also given in and agreed to train so good luck to him too.
Please do not forget our holiday club running from Wednesday 1st June to Friday 3rd June next week. If you are not working why not book the children in for a stop and play session? Also do not forget the family fun day on the 3rd June 11am-3pm. Entrance to the grounds is free and bring a picnic for the family. The annual summer fayre at Culverstone School is on the 24th June. We will be at both events so come along and see us there.
