Do the children have food?

We provide the children with a light snack. We give them things like beans on toast, sandwiches, pitta bread, crumpets, bagels, toast, tortilla wraps. The children are also offered fruit or vegetable sticks every evening and yoghurt a couple of times per week. Water or milk is always available with fresh fruit juice served with their snack.
What activities can the children take part in?

Free play
The children can play freely with lego, knex, barbie dolls, cars, soldiers, build camps, colour and draw, paint, make collages, junk modelling plus much more. We have a snooker table, board games, books, puzzles and outside sports equipment.
Supervised play
We also have a Wii console, play station and X box 360 Kinect, which the children have as a treat with a maximum of 20 minutes per go to avoid square eyes!

Staff, give children the chance to take part in cooking, sewing, fine art, creative arts, role play, movie making, photography, using modelling materials and much more. Our planning sheets are always on display for parents.

What are your opening times?

We are open 3pm to 6pm term times and on selected dates 8am to 6pm in the holidays with various booking times available during these times.
Can I claim tax credits?

Yes you can claim tax credits if eligible - all you need is our ofsted registration number - EY380038

Are the staff police checked and qualified?

All staff are, police checked with staff receiving training updates in many areas on a regular basis. Senior staff; are qualified to nvq level 3 in play work and/or early years to extend on the qualifications they already have. The manager is qualified to level 6.
Is the club ofsted registered and insured?

We are OSTED registered under all registers in line with Early Years Foundation Stage. You can view our most recent inspection report online at ofsted.gov.uk.

What if I am running late?

There is a late collection charge; however we do understand parents may be late occasionally for reasons beyond their control. The manager will assess each incident of lateness as it happens and charges are made at the manager’s discretion. If you think you will be late you must call us to inform us you are running late. The emergency contact on your form is there for these types of emergencies, please ensure the person you put on your form is aware and that they will need to collect your child in an emergency and they know your collection password.
