Mark and Rickie are getting closer to completing their training with Mark set to complete in the next couple of weeks and Rickie by end of April.
We have added some new table covers to our environment to help children identify the different areas we are creating for them. We will be looking at other things to add to make our room more inviting and comfortable for the children. So look out for the changes we make.
Mark is all set to begin the kids club Olympics in celebration of the up and coming summer Olympics. Each week through terms five and six we will have a special activity dedicated to this and the children will have the chance to gain points and win medals at the end of term six.
We will also be celebrating the Queens Diamond Jubilee with a traditional tea party with bunting and also a display and 1950's theme in term five. We will be voting for our Kidz club king and queen to rein during term six. Watch this space for pictures and news on these events
This term we are following the theme of spring and also working in partnership with the schools and their current topics.

We are still looking to recruit a new team member. As yet we have not found a suitable person to join our team. If you know of anyone or have a childcare qualification and want to get back into work then we  may have the job for you. Download the attachment to view our job ad.

We have been working hard with our environment this term and are making really good progress. The room is looking good with brightly coloured table coverings, work on the walls and lots of new toys being introduced.
We followed the themes of Chinese new year, nursery rhymes and being creative. The children have been working on a 500 piece puzzle showing the images from the 1950's in celebration of the pending diamond jubilee which is now complete and we have started a 1000 piece one showing images of the VE day celebrations.
We have had so much fun this term and had some new faces join us, so welcome to them.
We are still looking fo another team member to join us so if you know of anyone who has a qualification at level 2 or 3 let them know there is a vacancy.
